NEWSFLASH: Hannah Mills and Katrina Hughes finished second Brits at the Skandia Sail For Gold Regatta in Weymouth, the 2012 Olympic venue.

Welcome to Hannah Mills' official website.

Hannah Mills is one of Britain’s most promising young yachtswomen whose long-term ambition is to win a medal at the Olympic Games. She has taken the world of sailing by storm with her talent and performances in the Optimist class and more recently in the highly competitive national 420 class.

Having started to sail at the age of 8 in Cardiff, Hannah made her name in 2002, racing in the Optimist class. After a very successful twelve months, she ended the year ranked first overall in the UK for her age group and was crowned Girl's World Champion at the World Championships in Gran Canaria.

Hannah moved into the 420 class in 2003 and over the following three years clocked up all of the major girls 420 titles, including two times Junior European Champion, and in 2006 International 420 Ladies World Champion.

In September 2003 she secured a four year sponsorship deal with Pindar, the leading international print and electronic media company who also sponsor British yachtswoman Emma Richards. A new 420 dinghy and as well as ongoing financial support helps Hannah with additional coaching and campaign costs. She is also supported by the Welsh Yachting Association, the Sports Council for Wales and it's prestigious lottery programme, Elite Cymru. This sponsorship will enable her to start to fulfil her long term goal of competing in the Olympic Games.
